Around Hakone
A path around the lake is nice looking, and feels like you're in the wild... even though it follows a main road.
Something most people don't get to see, because they took the train. This overlook of the lake and mountains is on the way driving out of Hakone.
The temple is pretty standard (though maintained perfectly of course), but the huge evergreens all around are very nice and add to the ancient feel immensely. |
